Our Story

Hello and welcome to Hayes and White – a small, family‑run studio where every candle is poured by hand with care.

Our journey began in 2019, when I (Katherine) took part in a local candle‑making workshop. One evening’s curiosity quickly ignited a passion for fragrance, craftsmanship, and the simple comfort of a flickering flame. What started as gifts for friends soon turned into repeat requests, and before long Hayes and White was born.

Hand‑Poured in East Sussex

Today, you’ll find us working from our studio on the edge of the beautiful Ashdown Forest. Each batch is mixed, wicked, and poured in small quantities so we can keep a close eye on quality. We work exclusively with natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and carefully selected fragrance and essential oils that give a clean, even burn and gentle, lingering scent.

What Matters to Us
