Hello and welcome to Hayes & White.

I’m Katherine and I started my candle making journey back in 2019.

I adore good quality candles, there is something so warm and cosy about having beautifully crafted candles around a home and I quickly discovered a deeper love of making candles myself when I attend a local workshop many years ago. 

I started my journey by gifting my handcrafted candles to friends and family which soon became making them as gifts for friends of friends.

Along with a little encouragement from my biggest inspiration, my daughter, I decided to launch Hayes & White.

All my candles are hand poured and crafted at my small studio in East Sussex, just on the edge of the famous Ashdown Forest.

I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country and my miniature golden doodle feels much the same!
